I experienced another murder sentencing (to read about first one ) and it wasn't any easier. Once again, I am on the side of the defendant. We are representing a man that did terrible, awful things. Even though I know it won't get any easier, I know that this is the work I want to do. There was no one there for him as he was being sentenced to life in prison, not his mother, father or siblings. The only people there on his side was his attorney, and his social worker.
